Easter weekend, Chris and his Dad planted herbs and flowers in our backyard and they keep growing! :) Those of you who know me well, know that this has absolutely nothing to do with me since my motto of lawn and garden maintenance is definitely "survival of the fittest". But it turns out that Chris has quite a green thumb, and I expect that soon we'll be eating from our very own garden! :) We have cilantro, basil, rosemary, tomatoes, onions, beans, bell peppers, green chile peppers, jalapeño peppers, and strawberries! We're enjoying afternoons on the deck with an iced tea, checking out our "crops". You'd think we were an old married couple! Ha! :)
